Hi, I’m the person behind Great North IT—and I’ve been in the tech game for a while.
Over the years, I’ve worked with everyone from solo entrepreneurs to enterprise-level companies spread out across Canada, in both private and public sector. I’ve helped small businesses get their systems off the ground, supported growing teams through major changes, and tackled complex projects in a variety of industries from transportation to healthcare. I’ve also led IT departments, built infrastructure from the ground up, and rolled out solutions that actually make day-to-day work easier—not harder.
My roots are in hardware, networking and security, which means I know how to build systems that are both strong and safe. From there, I expanded into storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies—bringing a full-stack perspective to every job I take on. I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and overwhelming tech can be for business owners, so my goal is to make things simple, smart, and stress-free.
I also ran a startup called Promote Local, where I helped small businesses get noticed in their communities. That experience gave me a real appreciation for the challenges and hustle that go into running a local business—which is why I now focus on helping SMBs build the right tech foundation to grow and thrive.
